We will start the day with an introduction to SweeTrees by the farm family, followed by presentations about NY Tree Farm and Tioga SWCD’s conservation work that promotes healthy watersheds and forests. After lunch, we will tour a newly completed Tioga SWCD project that created climate resiliency for the future and reduced large gully erosion that was impacting the farm’s sugarbush. Tioga SWCD was able to complete the project with state funds from the Climate Resilient Farms grant and landowner match. This will be a free event with lunch provided.
