American Forest Foundation Seeks Tax Policy Input from Family Forest Owners

July 24, 2017

Good afternoon!

My name’s Tristan Daedalus and I came on with the American Forest Foundation as Policy Director about a month and a half ago. AFF has been great so far, and I’ve spoken with many of our policy partners already. Even if we haven’t connected yet, if I can ever be of help, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

As you’ve no doubt heard, tax reform is on the agenda in Washington. So that we can prioritize our efforts, AFF is conducting a survey to determine which federal tax issues matter the most to family forest owners. To widen the net of our responses, I was hoping you could pass it along to your members as well.

The survey is anonymous and all information will be aggregated before it’s used to focus our advocacy efforts.

The full link to the survey is here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/39MV7WR

Thanks, in advance, for any help you can provide getting this to woodland owners in your state.

Tristan
