What: Fall Woods Walk on September 30^th in Newfield

When: September 30^th, 9:30 to noon

Where: Jayne Port and Lew Ward; 246 Smith Road; Newfield, NY.

Join the Southern Finger Lakes Chapter of the NY Forest Owners Association (http://www.nyfoa.org) on Saturday, September 30^th from 9:30 to noon for an enjoyable walk in the woods of Jayne Port and Lew Ward; 246 Smith Road; Newfield, NY.

This walk will be a great opportunity to learn about managing small family woodlots for wildlife, wildflowers, timber and recreation.

Forestry experts will be on hand to help answer individual questions. This woods walk is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served in the morning. The walk will take place rain or shine, so dress for the weather and be prepared to walk up to one mile in forest conditions.
